How To Make Grape Galette
A rustic, free-form tart filled with juicy grapes and topped with a buttery crumble.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3 tbsp ice water
- 1 1/2 cups seedless grapes
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add ice water and mix until dough comes together. Flatten into a disc and chill for 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix grapes, honey, and cornstarch.

On a floured surface, roll out dough into a circle. Transfer to a baking sheet.

Arrange grape mixture in the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold edges of dough over grape mixture.

Brush edges with beaten egg. Sprinkle with additional sugar if desired.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
