Ingredients
- 2 cans of sardines in oil, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices of bread
- 4 leaves of lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together the drained sardines, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Toast the bread slices.

Spread the sardine mixture on 4 of the slices.

Top each slice with a lettuce leaf, tomato slices, and red onion slices.

Top with the remaining toast slices.

Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.
