How To Make Miso-marinated Salmon

Cooking fish can be very tricky, especially if some are too delicate to be cooked. Well, with our fish recipes, it’ll be easy as 1-2-3. We’ve got the details on different cooking methods for the perfect fish dish.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.

  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the miso marinade over them. Make sure the fish is coated well. Marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
