Ingredients
- 4 smoked herring fillets
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.

Add the chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper and continue to cook for a minute.

Arrange the smoked herring fillets in a baking dish and spoon the onion mixture on top.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
