Smoked fish blended with mashed potatoes and herbs, formed into cakes and pan-fried to crispy perfection.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of smoked fish, flaked
- 2 cups of mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh herbs (dill, parsley, chives)
- 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the smoked fish, mashed potatoes, herbs, and breadcrumbs.

Add the beaten egg and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.

Form the mixture into small cakes, about 1/4 cup each.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Fry the fish cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
