How To Make Catfish Jambalaya Recipe
A spicy, flavorful one-pan rice dish with catfish, sausage, and vegetables cooked in a tomato-based sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 lb catfish fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add onion, bell pepper, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.

Stir in catfish, diced tomatoes (with juice), rice, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 20-25 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
