How To Make Anchovy Pasta Recipe

A delicious Italian pasta dish with salty anchovies and garlic in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 8 anchovies, chopped
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  3. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add the anchovies and red pepper flakes and cook until the anchovies are melted into the oil, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Add the spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the anchovy sauce.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
