- 3 cups of milk

Instructions
- In a medium-sized pot, combine the rice, milk, sugar, ground anise seeds, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for a few minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and let simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Serve warm or chilled.
