  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Sea salt flakes, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch tart pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, melted butter, granulated sugar, and sea salt until well combined.

  3. Press the mixture evenly into the greased tart pan, covering the bottom and sides.

  4. Spread the dark chocolate chips and chopped pecans over the crust.

  5. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the chocolate and pecans.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tart is set and the edges are slightly golden.

  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.

  8. Allow the tart to cool before serving. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
