Ingredients
- 4 slices of crusty bread
- 2 medium beetroots, roasted and sliced
- 100g Wensleydale cheese, crumbled
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Place the sliced bread on a baking tray and toast in the oven for 5 minutes until crispy.

In a small bowl, mix together the honey, thyme leaves, salt, and pepper.

Remove the toasted bread from the oven and spread a generous amount of the honey mixture onto each slice.

Top each slice with the roasted beetroot slices and crumbled Wensleydale cheese.

Return to the oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese has melted and the tartines are golden brown.
