Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, or parsley)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet.

  3. Arrange the asparagus spears on top of the puff pastry.

  4. Sprinkle the bacon, Parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs over the asparagus.

  5. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the asparagus is tender.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
