How To Make Spanish Flan
A creamy and decadent dessert with a caramel topping.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a saucepan, melt sugar over medium heat until it turns into a golden brown caramel.

Pour caramel into a baking dish, tilting it to coat the bottom and halfway up the sides.

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add milk and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Pour mixture over the caramel.

Place the baking dish on a larger dish filled with an inch of water.

Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

To serve, run a knife around the edge of the flan and invert onto a platter.
