How To Make Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of canned pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of evaporated milk
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and then add them to the pumpkin mixture. Stir until fully combined.

Gradually add evaporated milk while continuing to stir the mixture.

Place the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the pumpkin filling into the pie crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 40-45 minutes until the center is set.

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.

Serve chilled with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
