How To Make Ham, Turkey & Sprout Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of pre-made pie dough
  • 1 cup of diced ham
  • 1 cup of diced turkey
  • 1 cup of Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of diced onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pie dough and press it into a 9-inch pie dish.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.

  3. Add the diced ham, turkey, and Brussels sprouts to the skillet. Cook until the sprouts are tender.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the chicken broth and heavy cream. Pour the mixture into the skillet and stir well.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.

  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish. Top with grated cheddar cheese.

  7. Place the pie dish on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
