How To Make Elephant Ears

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle shape.

Brush the melted butter evenly over the surface of the puff pastry.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered puff pastry.

Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the puff pastry into a log shape.

Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds.

Place the rounds onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.

Gently flatten each round with the palm of your hand to create the shape of an elephant ear.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the elephant ears are golden brown and puffed up.
