- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil over medium heat.

Add the flour all at once and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball.

Remove from heat and let cool for a couple of minutes.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until smooth and shiny.

Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a round tip.

Pipe 1-inch mounds onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Slice the cream puffs in half horizontally. Fill each puff with the whipped cream mixture.

Place the top half of the puff back on and dust with powdered sugar.
