- 2 cups cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well and set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cold butter cubes and use your fingers to rub the mixture together until it resembles coarse crumbs.
