- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda

- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
