- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup milk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
