Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup almond meal
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- for the crumble topping:
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, almond meal, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and almond extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Gently fold in the blueberries.

In a small bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and cold butter using your fingers until crumbly. Stir in the sliced almonds.

Fill each muffin liner 3/4 full with the batter. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over each muffin.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
