Ingredients
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
- Green food coloring (optional)
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

Add in the chopped pistachios and almond extract, and mix well.

If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring to enhance the pistachio color.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker, and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Once the ice cream reaches a soft serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
