How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Fudge
The delights of cookie and fudge is combined in this decadent cookie dough fudge! A delectable and easy treat that requires no baking.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1cupgranulated sugar
- 1cuplight brown sugar
- ½cupheavy cream
- ¼cupmilk
- 1tbspcorn syrup
- ¾tspsalt
- 2tbspbutter
- 1tspvanilla extract
- ½cupall-purpose flour
- ⅓cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
-
In a 3-quart saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cream, milk, corn syrup, and salt.
-
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk until the sugar has dissolved.
-
Heat the mixture to 240 degrees F, stirring occasionally.
-
Once it reaches 240 degrees F, immediately remove from the heat and stir in the butter, vanilla, and flour. Stir the mixture until it becomes thick and lukewarm.
-
Pour the mixture into an electric stand mixer, then beat on medium speed with the paddle attachment for about 2 to 4 minutes until the mixture is very thick. Scrape down the sides of the bowl several times while mixing.
-
Press the thickened fudge into a buttered 8×8-inch dish and gently press chocolate chips onto the fudge.
-
Refrigerate the fudge for about 30 minutes until the fudge is set and the chocolate has hardened.
-
Cut into squares, serve, and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
- Stirring the fudge simply cools it faster, rather than pouring it into a pan and waiting for it to cool. It also saves wait time and washing another pan.
- Store in an airtight container.
