How To Make Apple Fritter Rings
End your meals with a bang with these soft and chewy apple fritter rings, that’s deep-fried to crispy goodness! Whip these up in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients
- 2cupsall purpose flour
- ½tspbaking powder
- ¼tspground nutmeg
- 1tspcinnamon
- ¼cupsugar
- ¼tspsalt
- 2large eggs
- 1¼cupsbuttermilk
- 6apples,Fuji or Grannysmith
- canola oil,for frying

Preheat a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat, then heat the canola oil to 350 degrees F.

In a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Add in the the egg and buttermilk, then whisk until just combined.

Using the biscuit cutters, cut out rings of apples in varying sizes and dip them into the batter. Carefully lift the rings out the batter, then let them drip off any excess batter.

Slowly place the fritters into the oil, then let them cook on both sides until browned.
