Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized apples
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Peel and slice the apples into thin wedges.

In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until crumbly.

Grease a baking dish and layer half of the sliced apples at the bottom.

Sprinkle half of the oat mixture over the apples.

Repeat with the remaining apples and oat mixture, creating layers.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
