  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.

  2. Using an electric mixer, beat the mixture on medium speed until soft peaks form. This will take about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Increase the mixer speed to high and continue beating until stiff peaks form. This will take about 1-2 minutes more.

  4. Be careful not to overbeat, as the cream may become buttery.

  5. Once the desired consistency is reached, use immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
