How To Make Crispy Avocado Wontons
These innovative and surely delicious avocado wontons are filled with fresh diced avocado with lime, tomato, onion, and more, all packed in a crispy wonton!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 12wonton wrappers
- 1large avocado,diced
- 2tsplime juice
- 2tbspsundried tomato,diced
- 1tbspred onion,minced
- ½tbspcilantro,minced
- oil,for frying
For Cilantro Dipping Sauce:
- 2tbspcream cheese
- 3tbspsour cream
- ¼tspgarlic powder
- ½tbspcilantro,or to taste
- ½tsplime juice
- salt and pepper,to taste
Instructions
Cilantro Dipping Sauce:

Combine all th ingredients in a small blender and process until smooth. Set aside.
Avocado Wontons:

Preheat about ½-inch vegetable oil in a pan.

Combine the diced avocado and lime juice. Toss with the sundried tomatoes, onion, and cilantro.

Working with one at a time, place about 1 tablespoon of the filling on each wonton wrapper. Dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wrapper.

Fold diagonally and seal shut by pinching the edges.

Test the oil with a small piece of a wonton wrapper. When added, it should float and bubble.

Once hot enough, add the filled wontons a few at a time. Cook for about 2 minutes per side or until browned and crispy.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
