Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup vegan butter, softened
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- Vegan icing and sprinkles (optional)
Instructions

In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the molasses, softened vegan butter, and almond milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out gingerbread people shapes.

Place the cut-out cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
