- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
