How To Make Pistachio & Orange Madeleines

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup ground pistachios
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a madeleine pan.

In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.

Sift in the flour, ground pistachios, baking powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Add the melted butter, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.

Spoon the batter into the madeleine pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the madeleines are golden brown and spring back when lightly pressed.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
