How To Make Easiest Ever Biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Pour in the milk and stir until just combined and a soft dough forms.

  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Be careful not to over-knead.

  6. Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thickness. Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
