How To Make Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate large bowl, beat together the granulated sugar and vegetable oil until well combined.

  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough into the powdered sugar. Roll the dough balls until they are fully coated.

  7. Place the coated dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.

  9. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
