Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, butter, granulated sugar, cardamom, and salt until it resembles crumbs.

Slowly add in the milk, a little at a time, until the dough comes together. Knead the dough until smooth.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4-inch (0.6 cm) thick.

Cut the dough into long strips and twist them into whirls. Place the whirls onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Dust the whirls with powdered sugar before serving.
