Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.

Flatten each portion slightly with the back of a fork.

Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
