How To Make Beer Cookies
It might seem strange, but the beer in these beer cookies lends some nice softness and chewiness to these treats. The walnuts add a nice crunch too!

Ingredients
- 2cupsall-purpose flour
- ½tspbaking soda
- ½cupbrown sugar,packed
- 1tspground cinnamon
- ½cupbutter
- 1¼cupsbeer,room temperature
- ½cupwalnuts,chopped
Instructions

Cream together the butter or margarine and the brown sugar. Cut in flour, baking soda and spice. Blend in beer slowly to form a soft dough.

Drop dough by teaspoonfuls and top with a walnut piece.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at a 350 degree F oven until lightly brown. Cool 1 minute on a cookie sheet and move to wire rack.
