- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp instant yeast
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- 1/3 cup warm milk
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- ½ cup raisins
- For the glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, and egg.

Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and knead in the raisins.

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.

Drizzle the glaze over the warm buns and serve.
