How To Make Chocolate Nut Chews
These decadent Chocolate Nut Chews is a fun, chocolatey treat you can easily make. A creamy dollop of peanut butter combined with milk, sugar, and cocoa powder gives off a velvety coating. The oats and salted peanuts are mixed in the smooth, chewy candy for a yummy surprise!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- ⅓ cup butter
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cup quick rolled oats, uncooked
- ½ cup salted peanuts
Instructions

In a 2-quart saucepan, mix in the sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter.

Stir over medium heat until mixture bubbles all over the top.

Let it boil and stir for 2 minutes more. Then, remove from heat.

Stir in the peanut butter until it melts.

Add the vanilla extract, quick rolled oats, and nuts. Stir until well-combined.

Drop the mixture by tablespoons onto waxed paper.
