- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.

In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.

In a small saucepan, heat the brown sugar, maple syrup, and heavy cream over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.

Pour the hot maple-caramel sauce into the greased cake pan, covering the bottom evenly.
