Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp of sea salt
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Mix the flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/2 tsp of sea salt in a bowl.

Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the bowl.

Mix until the dough comes together and press it into the bottom of a greased 9-inch tart pan.

Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then remove it from the oven and let it cool.

In a saucepan, combine the remaining sugar, corn syrup, and heavy cream.

Cook over low heat until the sugar dissolves, then increase the heat to medium-high.

Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes, until the mixture turns amber-colored and thickens.

Remove the caramel from the heat and stir in the sea salt and vanilla extract.

Pour the caramel over the cooled crust and smooth it out.
