Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- Sparkly baubles for decoration
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add softened butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed until well combined.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
