Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup crushed walnuts (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add melted butter and pineapple juice to the dry ingredients. Mix well until smooth.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan.

Sprinkle diced pineapple, brown sugar, and crushed walnuts evenly over the batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the pineapple layer.
