Ingredients

  • 2 packages of Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. Crush one package of Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and set aside.

  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

  6. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.

  7. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and pour the batter into it.

  8. Crush the remaining package of Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top of the batter.

  9. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  10. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
