- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 pineapple rings
- 4 maraschino cherries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Melt the butter and pour it into a round cake pan. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the butter.

Arrange the pineapple rings on top of the brown sugar, placing a cherry in the center of each ring.
