Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- For the cinnamon swirl:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- For the honey glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the cinnamon swirl.

Spread half of the cake batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon sugar mixture and spread it evenly.

Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake batter.

Use a butter knife to swirl the cinnamon sugar and melted butter through the batter, creating a marbled effect.

Bake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

While the cake is baking, prepare the honey glaze. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Once the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Drizzle the honey glaze evenly over the warm cake.

Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
