- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
