How To Make Glazed Walnut Butter Cake
Rich and tender butter cake is loaded with walnut bits and then coated with a walnut-infused vanilla glaze to up the nutty flavors.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1cupbutter,softened
- 2½cupssugar
- 4eggs
- 3cupsall purpose flour,sifted
- 2tspbaking powder
- 1cupmilk
- ½cupswalnuts,chopped
For Glaze:
- ¼cupbutter,melted
- 2cupspowdered sugar
- 1tspvanilla
- 2tbspmilk
- ½cupwalnuts,chopped, for topping
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease and flour a bundt pan.

In a large mixing bowl or using a stand mixer add the butter and sugar and cream together. Add the eggs one at a time.

Add the sifted flour and baking powder together. Add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture alternating the flour and milk. Fold in chopped walnuts.

Pour into the greased and prepared bundt pan. Bake for about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool.
Glaze:

Whisk together melted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Drizzle on top of cooled cake and top with additional chopped walnuts.
