Ingredients
- 1 cup mixed dried fruits (raisins, currants, chopped dates)
- 1/2 cup chopped mixed nuts (walnuts, almonds, pistachios)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a bowl, combine the dried fruits and mixed nuts.

In a separate bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Add the dry mixture to the bowl of fruits and nuts, and mix well.

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
