- 1 cup blackberries
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat until bubbly.

Pour the butter and sugar mixture into a greased baking dish.

Arrange the blackberries on top of the butter and sugar mixture.
