- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- For the Brown Butter Frosting:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bars to cool completely before frosting.
