Chewy and gooey Christmas cookie bar is ready in 30 minutes and is the perfect last-minute treat this holiday. It’s dotted with chocolate chips and M&Ms.

- ½cupbutter
- 1cupbrown sugar
- 1egg
- 1tspvanilla
- 1cupflour,sifted
- ½tspbaking powder
- ½tspsalt
- ⅛tspbaking soda
- ½cupchocolate chips
- 1cupChristmas M&M’s

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.

In a microwave safe bowl melt the butter.

In a mixing bowl add the melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.

Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix well and pour into the 9×9-inch pan.

Evenly sprinkle the M&Ms and chocolate chips over the top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
