- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add sugar and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
-
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, mixing until just combined.
-
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
-
In a separate bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
-
Once the brownies have cooled slightly, spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the top.
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour the ganache over the peanut butter layer, spreading it to the edges.
-
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is set. Cut into squares and serve.
